In October 2014 I realised how overweight I had become and knew things had to change. I had to lose weight, but I’d tried before so many times and always failed after a couple of weeks or even days. A friend had told me about Rob’s bootcamps so I gave him a call. I can’t believe how much weight I’ve managed to lose since and the changes in how I look and feel.
Rob was so welcoming when I first met him and made me feel completely at ease talking about my eating habits, and all the things that needed to change, and he got me to really commit to changing for the long term.
The nutrition plans and recipe suggestions have been really helpful and knowing that I’m going to be showing Rob my food diary and weighing in once a week usually keeps me on track. Seeing my weight drop nearly every week has kept me really motivated.
I’ve done 1-2-1 personal training and shared personal training and enjoy both, although the sessions can be really hard. We’re always doing something new and different – kettlebells, intervals, running and boxing etc.
I’ve now lost over 4 stone since starting personal training and I’m really happy with my new energy levels and fitness. I now run twice a week with friends too and I’ve completed several 10k races and a half marathon. I feel 10 times better than when we started!
